12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 7: The red of this Long Sleeve Side Split Top from Topshop just screams Christmas to me, right? This top is perfect towards the end of the season when you’ve maybe had a few too many Christmas cookies and a few too many cups of eggnog – there is room to spare in this breezy red top!

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 6: The Textured Silk Wrap Blouse from Boden in “damson” color (a purple/red) is such a great and unique-looking top for Christmas events this season. Like most of the tops I’ve shared you could dress this up or down depending on what pants you pair with it.

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 5: This French Connection Million Stars Embellishment shirt from ASOS just screams Christmas top to me. I love the navy, the gold stars, the sheer parts of the shirt, I love it all. I would wear this with cream pants and gold strappy shoes for an unbelievable Christmas outfit.

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 4

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 4: This Lace peplum top from Zara is sort of the lace top of all lace tops (and I searched a TON of lace tops). The goal of a modern lace top is to look delicate without being matronly – and this is honestly the edgiest lace top I’ve ever seen, love it. With a black pencil skit and heals you’d be wearing a pretty killer Christmas outfit.

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 3: Red Buffalo Plaid shirt from Target. This top is totally affordable and perfect for a Christmas house party or a Holiday dinner out with friends. I love to dress plaid shirts up with a super sparkly accent necklace like this or this to make it a little more holiday-appropriate.

12 Days of Christmas Tops Day 2: Fringe stripe tank from Anthropologie. I just love this top in gold! What a perfect thing to wear with black or hunter green pants to a dressy Christmas party or with jeans for after work holiday drinks. And definitely save this one for New Year’s Eve, too!

12 Days of Christmas Tops, day 1

The holiday season is full of festive events and things to do where it’s fun to dress up! Red and green, sparkles, sequins, even fringe – there are so many ways to doll-up your wardrobe for the season. I usually prefer to go with a fun dynamic top to pair with jeans, red pants, dressy black pants, or even a skirt depending on how fancy the event is. This year, I thought it would be fun to come up with 12 days of Christmas tops to share with you some ideas of fabulous shirts I’ve found around the internet in case you’re also looking for something cute to wear this season!

Day 1: J. Crew Embellished tartan t-shirt. I bought this myself (it’s on super sale) and it’s perfect with dark denim and red flats for a casual party. I prefer short sleeves at a party because I always get hot and an embellished lightweight tee seems to be perfect for that. I thought I’d also note this striped t-shirt with bow-embellished back in red is just adorable from J. Crew too, but the fit is a little odd (for me, at least) but if it works for you, SO cute.
