New customers often wonder what the process is for me to style their child for every day looks. A long time customer asked for a dressy look but mostly every day wear for her 3 year old son. This is the image I sent her that gives the image, brand, price, and brief description of each piece. I then send as an attachment in an email with a further description of looks including sizing recommendations (if something runs large or small) as well as outfit ideas. She reviews on her phone, circles the pieces she wants by marking it up in her photo app, and sends the image back. I then send along the invoice from our Shopify system and her items are shipped ASAP! As easy as that…

Boy do I love coordinating my kids in their holiday looks! A lot of you do too since I get so many requests for it every year. Here’s a bunch of really sweet sibling outfits from Thimble at Fritz & Gigi for a whole gaggle of siblings and/or cousins. I love that holiday plaid with the red!
This brand always has lovely details… see the red bow on the bigger girl dress? That’s the back closure. And see the red check in the pleat of the little girls dress? And the coordinating bow? It’s the perfect comfy yet adorable look for any child this Christmas.
People often ask how does your personal styling service work? The answer is it’s totally customized to you; your needs, your occasion, your style. Here I presented a customer with a couple options of coordinating looks for her 3 daughters to wear in a family photo shoot in their kitchen. She told me the girls love pink, florals, simple prints and that for this photo she wanted the girls in neutral colors. Here are the 2 options of looks I presented to her – I send an image like what you see above along with a detailed outline of each piece, why I chose it and what makes it special.
The hardest part for the customer is deciding what to get! =)

Today we talk about family photo sessions! Getting your family to appear in cohesive looks without being totally “matchy patchy” and skipping the boring, tired “navy top, white bottom” look is challenging. I wanted to share my family photo session from the summer. We took these pictures with my extended family where my mother (whose birthday was the reason for the photos!) was wearing her signature favorite orange. I picked a soft mint green to compliment the orange as well as standards white and navy and based everyone’s looks off this color palette. When choosing outfits, solid colors work as well as incorporating very subdued patterns. Here you can see I wore a simple stripe, my daughter wore a soft floral and my husband popped with his orange floral. You can also see I did a last minute change for my son, instead of an orange top and navy bottom just like dad (as in my inspiration board), he wore the opposite to spread the color palette out a bit.
All of this to say you know you’ll LOVE your family photos because it’s capturing a moment in time of your favorite people smiling! But it sure is icing on the cake to have coordinating looks.

I love these Munster sets and get one for my son every season – the quality is fantastic and they keep shape wash after wash. And the the detailing is so fun, he loves the thumb-holes at the wrist! For Fall I love this green set with lightweight joggers and coordinating hoodie. Your little one can wear a short sleeve tee underneath for layering as the day gets warmer and he no longer needs the sweatshirt. Paired with the easiest velcro sneakers by Chus that pair with any look and are priced right at under $35.

I was so happy to travel to NYC for a buying trip with Fritz & Gigi a couple weeks ago. We had appointments at a few showrooms to buy clothing for the shop for Summer, 2023. It was a wonderful time in the city and while I can’t show you any of the items we purchased to sell at the shop, I can share the views from my hotel room. Can’t wait to show you all the amazing new pieces we bought for next summer!
What’s cuter than coordinating sibling looks? Here we have this adorable puppy print by TukTuk in a dress for sister and button down for brother. And don’t you love the sparkly red shoes that coordinate with the red accent piping in the dress? Accessories and stuff puppies just make the look! These cuties greet you when you walk into Fritz & Gigi this week!
