The last school day is here (or right around the corner for us!) and it’s time to prep for summer! I always like to get something red, white & blue for my kiddos to wear 4th of July weekend so they look festive. I dressed some mannequins at Fritz & Gigi today in some big sister/little sister coordinating looks from Maddie & Connor Co (a brand we just started carrying, locally designed in Canton, MA). Don’t they looks cute AND festive?
Have you heard of Maileg mice? They are the most adorable little stuffed creature to collect! Last summer Maileg unveiled the most darling beach collection with the mice dressed in bathing suits, each coming in their own cabana, as well as accessories like floats, beach chairs, umbrellas, and snacks. They’ve added a few new pieces to the Beach Collection (the picnic table, thermos and bathrobes) and I was lucky enough to set up this adorable window display at Joy Street Life & Home this week to showcase the entire collection. I mixes in a few other beachy toys to really make an adorable little display.
‘Tis the season (at least in the Northeast) of chilly mornings that turn into hot afternoons! But what to wear to head to school or wait at the bus stop during this weather?
I had this exact scenario in mind when I dressed this tween mannequin at Fritz & Gigi recently. I started with a trendy hot-weather look; paper-bag style jean shorts with a cute tank top. And for cool mornings she can throw on this fabulous white jean jacket with sweatshirt-material sleeves and hood. Pair with some cute Birkenstocks or sneakers and she’s ready for her day with the perfect transitional look for a cool morning/hot afternoon!
Love this display I set up last week at Fritz & Gigi of the latest summer looks for boys 2 to 14 from Appaman. Styled with a bin of Hari Mari flip flops, box of jump ropes, and the coolest summer fedora hats – this rack is one-stop-shopping for your cool little dude. How fun is this look below… he can wear the top and tee all day and then toss the button down on to go out to dinner.
And who says all boys clothes are blue and gray??!
We’re really into matching sets in our house and there’s no better season for them than summer! An easy look to pop on, look stylish, and be ready for your day. I dressed this little 3T model at Fritz & Gigi in a new terry cloth set from Munster. Styled with a fabulous bucket hat from nadadelazos and a little jelly bag holing her favorite stuffy, she’s ready for a day at the zoo or park!
6 years ago yesterday CouCou Boston opened! Astrid, the owner continues to curate the most gorgeous shop for children with unique & impeccable clothing, gorgeous toys, crafts, housewares and more, imported from around the Globe. Congratulations CouCou, I’m so honored to be a part of this special shop.
Rylee & Cru is know for their adorable neutral clothes. Their inspiration for SS22 is summer’s simple joys with warm, neutral hues and playful, hand illustrated patterns. This set arrived last week and it’s too cute. A little top with puff sleeves paired with an elastic waist twirly skirt. Great for dinner out, an afternoon at the zoo, and even a run through the playground. I styled it with pops of pink in a beaded bracelet, jelly shoes, and this darling spring bag from MOLO.
So excited that Fritz & Gigi is now carrying children’s clothing brand nadadelazos, designed in Spain, ecofriendly fabrics, and the most fabulous, colorful prints. So far we’ve just received pieces for girls (ya know, supply chain and shipping drama) but they are incredible! I love this green button down dress with puff sleeves and gorgeous watermelon embroidery. I styled it with a little beaded bracelet and the most adorable (and affordable – $17!) jelly shoes.
I’ll post boys pieces when we receive them!
I installed a fun Easter window at Fritz & Gigi a couple weeks ago and Thursday updated the outfits. We change the outfits weekly to make sure they don’t fade! I love this little Easter crew, all decked out for an egg hunt.
It’s Spring Break season and we’re excited to get out of town soon to a warmer destination! When thinking about what to pack I always try and find a few versatile looks for my kids that will be comfy for a day out and about as well as dressy enough to go out to dinner or to an evening event. I found the perfect versatile look for my daughter and thought I would share. The set is Hello Simone, we sell at CouCou sizes 4 – 12. The cobalt blue is a gorgeous shade that looks great on every skin tone and the embroidered florals are so sweet and are featured in the front and back of the outfit.
For a day at the museum, walking around town, and out to lunch your child can wear this look with their comfy sandals and a cute pair of sunglasses. My daughter loves Birkenstocks in a neutral metallic that coordinates with everything.
For an evening look to go out to a nice dinner or social event this set can be paired with a dressy espadrille, a cute summer bag, and a necklace to create more of a look. You can also pair with a pink or white cardigan from your child’s closet for a chilly evening. My daughter has these great trendy clear toe espadrilles from Zara that she’ll wear for Easter and any dressy event coming up this season.
Have a great vacation!
