A big part of my job at Fritz & Gigi is merchandising. Essentially organizing and displaying merchandise so it not only looks nice but also so it appeals to customers and inspires them to make a purchase. As we wind down the Spring/Summer season (Fall pieces start arriving in late June!) it’s important to consistently merchandise the store so it looks fresh, is seasonally appealing, and full because the store can start to look empty as we’re selling through merchandise before the next season arrives.
I refreshed the Baby Boy corner last week and I love how it came out – showcasing the adorable, tiny bathing suits and water shoes (of which we don’t have many left) complimented by some adorable summer outfits that we still have some inventory. The MOLO button down, shorts, matching tee, and sun hat needed to be showcased on a mannequin to highlight the need to purchase all 4 pieces to complete the look. And he looks adorable with his Jellycat sand castle stuffy, right?! Happy Shopping!
